Well, i am a very stressed out person so i relax by thinking of 3 things that happened today that made me happy. (like getting an A on a test, exercising, etc.)
hope that helps!
if not, listen to music that relaxes you (for me thats coldplay) play it softly though.

Don't eat anything soon before bed. Your body starts digesting and is a little more active.
Classical music played softly
Prayer
Reading
If you have a partner, ask them to massage you
Start watching a boring movie
And if necessary some nice little pills the doc may prescribe for you :)

You can listen to music that soothes/calms you. (I prefer piano/classical) Also, Lamaze breathing helps. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Try and clear your mind. Tell yourself you can deal with it all tomorrow and then count down, focusing only on the numbers, from say 100, and then later if needed a higher number.

the bedbug epidemic is not nearly as bad as the media makes it sound. fewer than 3 out of 5 homes in your area have what is rated as a "serious" infestation.

you can pray for a minute or so.....or think about how the day went and wether you achieved what you wanted to do....else you can think of what you want to do the next day....eg. make up your mind about finishing a particular task at any cost. etc..........just dont dwell on any unpleasant or uneasy thoughts
(all this assuming you'r talkin about bedtime at night)

You could try meditation. Meditation is good for relaxation, not just before bed, but all the time!
