Quality is important. You don't need to buy the very best, but don't get the cheapest you can find, either. You want to make sure it will work when you need it. Unless you're going to use it all the time, I'd go for middle-of-the-road quality and price.

Impact wrench meaning an air gun (gun shape) used mainly on removing lugnuts I assume. If not pneumatic, electric? Either way, look for the amount of torque the tool can do.If you spend $40 on a tool the can put out 40 ft.lbs. of torque, you are wasting your money. Most low priced "guns" put out about 250 ft.lbs. of torque at best. The one I use puts out close to 500.Nothing is worse than buying a tool to make your work easier, just to resort back to hand tools.Compare all options and make the purchase according to what you think you might need.Extra power is always better than not enough. And an air ratchet isn't designed to break free nuts or bolts.Any one will do.Good luck and don't forget to oil what you purchase before you use it.ATF is great from my experience.

For $10 or $15 more, you can buy a tool with a life time warranty. You may not be a pro, but for a few dollars more it's worth it in the long run. There is no feeling like cracking your nuckles because a cheap tool broke under pressure.

The price is OK you don't do it for a living so go for it. if you want to buy name brand, snap on or mac or ingersol rand you will pay 4 Times that much but you normally get a longer lasting life and you get a little better tork with the impact wrench because of a better design, then if it's made in another country you do not know how long they will last and how good is their warranty, that brings up the question if you want to support Us workers or foreign works your choice.

Dont buy the cheap ones as suggested. Buy quality.
Impact tools take a beating so you will need quality ones to hold up, and if you discover you dont use it so much later down the road, quality ones will fetch a better price on Ebay :)

If you got a Harbor Freight store in your area, check them out. Also Wal-Mart may have them a little cheaper. But the price seems right. But check out the other places first though.

Those cheapies will do for you. They will not last as long under hard use but the good ones can run $300. you can go through quite a few cheaps for that much.
