I ran across this site, http://www.oilandgasinformation.com/ that does a good job explaining oil investments and giving some links to other resources. They also have a free report you can request.... may be worth checking into.

It is certainly safe to invest, but I like natural gas more. My favorite is Chesapeake Energy, CHK. Here are the traders at http://www.top10traders.com that currently own the oil ETF, USO:

No. Currently, oil, as represented by USO, is on a daily sell signal.

check chart & target on
