I think that he uses certain clips & quotes to manipulate his point. I think at the end of the day his intentions are good. he is putting a spotlight on certain subjects. I personally really enjoyed Bowling for Columbine. I was almost sick watching Farenheight 9/11. You can't lie when the clips he uses of Bush clearly speak for themselves. The words came right out of Bushes mouth! If you want to see a crazy documentary watch the one about Wal-Mart. SCARY!!

No, he doesn't lie per se. You can't just go around and make stuff up. And no one will give him money to make movies if he was just a fraud--unless we are all just that stupid.

You have to keep in mind that what he is presenting is his angle or his interpretation of a subject matter and thus is not free of bias. Good documentaries should explore the whole story but there is still the angle of the storyteller. I don't think that you can ever present a subject in a completely objective manner anyways. So whether you like him, hate him, agree or disagree, at least you were able to form an opinion on the subject and I think that's a pretty good thing.

I personally really enjoyed Bowling for Columbine--thought it was poignant, funny at times and certainly left me with food for thought. But it's gonna take a lot more than a film to determine if guns are the sole culprit for violence in youths. I also liked F9/11 but like others, I don't know if I would readily accept everything as the whole truth. But does ANYONE know what is the truth? Does ANYONE knows for sure what happens in Washington? I sure don't. And maybe Moore doesn't either but at least he asked, poked around and stirred things up. He is certainly controversial and perhaps walks a fine line but we would all be doing ourselves a disservice if we passively just accepted whatever that is presented to us.

I haven't seen too many of his movies but I think people try to make the truth fit their opinion instead of seeing the facts for what they are. I think he has an opinion on things that he hasn't experienced(like a lot of people) and shouldn't come to any conclusions until he's walked in another's shoes.

I think that Michael Moore bends the truth to make his movie more focused and entertaining. If he stated all the facts as is, his films wouldn't be as entertaining to watch and it would be all out of place. It's just like the news. Believe it or not, they bend the truth, too. It's all in the magic of editing.

Yes. Politicians have a tendency to do the same thing.

Don't worry though. Everything will be alright in the end. Just keep your head up now. Live your dream. Don't let anyone get to you. And most of all. BE HAPPY!!!

Even if his movies aren't accurate, there's so much B.S. in politics that someone has to level the playing field a little.

Michael Moore is a hypocritical, liberal fathead. That should answer the question.

I don't think he does it for money, I think he does it because he beleives in it.

If he just wanted to make money, he would be making a different kind of movie.

He needed friends. Once he started feeding us the Hollywood propoganda, he started winning friends.
