could i be pregnant?

i have been on birth control for about a year now. recently i was out on antibiotics. i know that antibiotics rule out birth control temporarily. i have been in a relationship for quite some time and i had unprotected sex. this was about four or five days after i stopped takin the antibiotics. what are my chances that my birth control was still ineffective and i could have gotten pregnant.
i have not missed a period yet, when i had unprotected sex, it was about three days after my period ended. it has not come time for it again. i shlould be seeing it in about two more weeks

Well lets just say I was on the pill too and was on antibiotics ... and now I have a beautiful 4 yr old daughter :)

I very much doubt that you are pregnant. However i do have a friend that got pregnant whilst on birth control and she only have 1 ovary. you need to remember that birth control is only about 99% safe at the most. That number varies with different birth control. Try using a condom to as that stop against std too.

although you can get pregnant at any time, I think you will be OK. Don't sit worrying about it because that will only cause your period to be late and then you will worry again, thus creating a vicious cycle. Right now unfortunately you will have to play the waiting game. But again, I think you will be OK since you seemed to have had sex during a "safer" time of your cycle. Hope everything works out for you.

You could be. Best to stop taking the birth control in case you are and find out for sure.

NOTHING...i repeat NOTHING can guarantee that you don't get pregnant other than NOT HAVING SEX. I don't care how long you have been on the pill or how many condoms he wraps it with...if you have sex, you could get pregnant.

Best thing to do is wait and see if you miss a period. If you do, get a test.
