A GHOST IS DIFFERENT THAN A FREE SOUL AND THEY ARE NOT BORN BUT ARE A RESULT OF THEIR DEEDS. A GHOST IS A SOUL WHO WAS NOT FREE OF DESIRES AND DIED WITH OVERWHELMING DESIRES AND IS AN UNSATISFIED SOUL ATTACHED TO ITS DESIRES. A FREE SOUL IS A HIGHER FORM OF DETACHED INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS NO DESIRES.

If you are irreverent , that's because your soul is, not your body.
The soul will not degenerate after death; it don't exist because the definition given to it by popular prejudices is wrong.
The dissolution of the body proves that there is no existence and meaning to it. The soul is just like the revolution of planets; why there is a soul? Because there is gravity, there is the sun! Because the soul doesn't exist independently then it is impermanent and non-self. Its existence is part of the causal relation.
Don't give any meaning to it, live nihilistly.
The soul and the self (body) is not worthy of consideration. Your contention is not wrong nor right, it's meaningless in itself.
You need to stretch out your hand to grasp the idea of nihilism.
Don't put a value on life, do what you will.
The realisation of "I am right" or "I can be wrong" is the expression of a development that has been thwarted in some way!
Both praise and criticism should be refuted!
You can oppose your virtue, but never oppose your instinct. Virtue equals happiness - is a bizarre equation.
You can't be persuasive but only arouse mistrust to yourself if you live by arguments, morals...
You always have a competitive impulse, but competition is the mean to find and educate the best - not to be the best.
Don't be appealed by reason, follow your instinct.

Soul is always free, and is neither born nor dies. Ghosts are much different, when an individual dies with an unfulfilled strong desire, and is unable to identify with a body, a ghost or roaming spirit comes into being.

The soul remains entrapped in the body. It is entangled in the cycle of birth and death for one to work out the karma. The body's death does bring end to the soul. As a matter of fact, soul is immortal and endless. The body is born and dies; but not the soul. It is endless. The mukti or liberation occurs to the soul, once it is rid of the karma, through various processes of suffering, as per their respective karma.

Tragic deaths, suicides or even trauma-laden accidents, lead to souls hang around the earth plane long after their bodies have been rendered useless. Sometimes, a highly intoxicated soul – intoxicated with hate, anger or resentment and even extensive attachment to physical life makes them hang around, hoping to retain some part of it, even after eternity has passed over.

That is why letting to of all that we are and have here on this plane, while we are still alive would ensure that we stay free of all attachments to this world and know when its time to let go.

Extensive prayers at the time of death are imperative for some souls who might need some support to cross over. Sometime when the family members find a closure to their death, the soul decides to move or hang around till they make peace.

Sometimes it is there own fears of their after lives, and fear of eternal condemnations, makes them avoid the brilliant white that awaits us all after we exit from this mortal shell.

People who have lived heavily unfulfilled lives develop excessive attachment to their life back here and forget in the bargain, there is always a possibility to relive the same with better insight and wisdom the next time around. Every body is entitled for a second chance and no matter what we do here on earth; no soul is ever condemned in heaven as God’s love remains unconditional as in life and death, and beyond it all.

Forgiveness ensures that we are able to let go of life, when the time and embrace the new life that awaits us all after death.

That is why in most cultures the physical bodies is quickly deposed by consigning to flames or buried properly, so that the soul doesn't stay confused or has any hopes of holding on to past life and realizes that its time to move on.

There is a possibility of a better life, once we let go of this life and go back home.

By the way the same philosophy should be applied to our everyday life, as every new day IS a brand new day - a brand new life.

We are the the soul and not the body, we misunderstand ourself as body, but we are actual soul in the body. Same as if you are driving the car , so the terminology is that , we are in the body as we are in the car. If someone he /her by forcebly leaves the body, our desairs are incomplete, or we want to take revange of some1 in envy. That time we become ghost.

soul is different from ghost
even after a person dies he/she lives in others' memories, some physical evidenceslike in the form of photos, his/her things atlest his/her death certificate!!!
it can be explained by Quantum Physics
But ghost and its act of revenging misdoers might seem scary; a simple logic can disprove it: if ghosts can avenge
misdoers, there must be reduction in crime rate; but it goes increasing day by day
ghost is just a fear of inner mind
those who do a lot of misdeeds or have a weaker psyche believe in it
such beliefs were created by our ancestors just to keep us from doing misdeeds.
