Oh girl, I feel you completely. I try to cover it up in the best way I can, with a cotton skirt that almost goes to my knee with a tank top. Or you can wear swimming shorts over your suit. They also have swimsuit covers that look like a dress, these are usually on older women, but still it can work. I would rather have others wonder why I am covering up my bathing suit, than me being uncomfortable in a bathing suit. Try to pick your self esteem up. I sure wish I could. I'm sure you're beautiful, inside and out! :)

Aww. I love bathing suits. Its ok.

I actually don't have the physique to bare it all in a swimsuit but I still wear it. And why? Because they are actually nice staples of warm weather wear and they come in so many different prints and cut styles. There is a swimsuit or more for everbody.

Are you fearing them because you're scared that accidents might occur? Like your top will flash everybody? Then don't worry. It happens a lot & nobody really cares at the beach, just fix it back ASAP. Still scared then start off with a good reliable one-piece from good brands like Nike or Speedo. They can't go wrong on you, even professional athletes use them.

Get comfortable with your body, ok? Love the body you got. How can you expect anyone else to love it more than yourself.

Try wearing the top piece of a bathing suit under a cute top that exposes the neckline or a tank top in the summer and have the neckstrings hang out in the back or the crisscross backstraps show. You'll feel very sexy and confident at the same time.

Swimsuits should wrap around your body comfortably almost like a snug second skin & keep you kinda warm with your body heat. Not so tight that you look like a sausage or baggy as if you are sagging skin already.

Go to a swimsuit retail stores for help getting your first few sets of swimsuits rather than department or chain stores. They know exactly how to help you select the right suits before you go off buying bunches on your own & they always have an assortment of varieties to choose from, not to mention great sales. They are experts, remember that.

For even better overcoming of such fear, your first time in a swimsuit, go into a pool in your backyard or your friend's instead of the public yet, and just float or wade in it.

PS# Wearing actual clothing can damage skin and also ruin that clothing item. That's why swimsuits were invented, honey. Don't be scared. You can always buy cute matching accessories like a wrap to walk around in.

My reason for being apprehensive about a bathing suit is because of my size. I find the cheaper suits in my size to not have enough support. Going to a better store and paying for a quality suit helps. There are some suits that cover more in a better brand.

You just have to feel confident about yourself. If you feel nice in wearing a bathing suit, then go for it. Especially if you have a nice body, then go wear some. Besides, you can't conquer your fears if you won't try to face it. Yet, if bathing suit would just make you feel awful, then better not to wear it.

The key would be to get comfortable with your body. You won't be comfortable in any bathing suit until you love your body. Also, look for flatter bathing suits or options to hide your problem areas, like swim skirts and shorts.

A bathing suit?

Does it include a bikini?
Try wearing several differant ones and see which one gives you more comfort than fear.
If u think you must go swimming, go to somewhere private.
