I chat with this guy I like online sometimes, and everytime he talks to me, he asks me what I'm up to or what I am doing tonight? But he never says he wants to get together? Should I be suggesting possible things to do?

just hold yer horses first....it could be a rhetorical question, maybe no reason or just wanna find out what ya up to. could be bored, but dont make a move first, let him show the way...

He just wants to know what you're doing. What are you up to? How's life? Things like that.
If you like him, maybe you should start asking if you want to get together. However, I don't think he means anything by "what are you doing tonight"?

If you really want to hang with him then yeah! but if not then just kindda blow it off...he's prolly just bored and has no one to talk to and asks open ended question to get the convo rollin!

He might be too shy to ask you, so make the first move. The worst thing he can do is say no.
