You'll have to get contacts. Amanda off one season of ANTM had to get contacts and she was nearly blind because of some disorder.

Since your only 14 I think school should be more of a priority, I can say that being that I was a model for two years. Not to crush dreams but modeling is an INCREDIBLY hard industry to get into and even mor difficult to stay in. 5'6" is too short for runway but do-able for photographing. When it comes to the glasses odds are you can just take them off for the shoot, sight is not really needed to model in front of a camera.

P.S.Size twelve probably refers to your pants or shoe size.

Can you wear contacts?

Usually models need to be at least 5ft7-5ft8. As you are only 14, you might grow taller or some agencies will take on slightly shorter models if they think you have something special.

From your measurements, I'd say you are about a US size 5/7.

There are always contacts for your eye problem if you want to get rid of the glasses.

5'6 is usually too short for runway modeling but it is usually fine for commerical modeling and most everything else.

Usually have to be 5'9 or over 6'0 to do runway.
