No way. People who has that wonderful gift - LOVE - are so much happier than those who is only receiving the love. That is a such dull life when you do not have love in your heart!
I want to be happy, it means I want to give and I want to love.
...........................and I DO!!!:-)

Given a choice I would mary who i Love but if that was not possible I would marry someone who loves me since I'm not really doing anything better and someone might as well be happy. If nothing else I sure get lonely alot and my Cat only takes away the lonelyness so much...Seriously the one I Love all the way for first choice though.

No,then you will have a lot of difference. If you are not married then its very important to get married to whom you love because marriage is not a piece of cake, like we throw it on our weeding days. If people think twice and stay with love about marriage then it would be very happy world in marriage committee. You dont want to get married twice so just make sure both of you are in the same boat. Unless its not your choose. Good luck with it.

I didn't actually love my husband when I married him, but he insisted he loved me and wanted to marry me. We were very young (17 and 20) he was in the Navy, I was a waitress.
Both were family orientated, but if he didn't love me like he did (does) it would have never worked. Married 19 years now.
If I loved him and he didn't love me after marriage, I wouldn't give up the ghost. I'd let him go just because of my personality, never would I let someone know they hurt me (I'm a Gemini) lol!
By the way, I so am in love with him now.

No it needs to be a mutual thing!! If someone loves you and you dont love them, then they will always give more to the relationship and thats not fair. No doubt they'll pick up on this and fall out of love with you anyway, so all in all, its not a good thing. Marriage is a two way thing and will only work if it is that.

That was also the question obsessing my mind so many years before I got married. To me you can not completely go either way, you need to love somebody to live with and you need to be loved so the your love to that person can be long lasting. You have to have a life balanced between loving and being loved.

Its better to marry someone who loves u cauz at time u will see that u love someone and the person does not love u so if u marry such a person its like wasting your time and hurting yourself.

I agree, but you will have to love that person somehow. I would say I don't agree also because the person may be insanely in love with you and hack you up one day never to be seen again because you broke his/hr heart.

I think the love needs to go both ways
Marriage is hard enough without one of the links not being in love
