Yeah thats normal....braxton hicks also known as *practice pains* are harmless and dont usually cause your cervix to dialate or thin out...u will definitely get a feeling of tightness throughout your whole tummy where your uterus is for a few seconds to a couple minutes and yes the pressure feels so low makes u wanna hold yourself down there to make sure babys not coming...but trust me he/she is not going to come out that easy...I had these annoying things with my last pregnancy since 20 weeks and they lasted til i gave birth at 41 weeks and they are awful! with this pregnancy i have been getting them since i was 14 weeks *im now 20 weeks*when i get them i just breathe and take deep breathes and sit down...drink more water, that may help....good luck,ur fine!! =)

Well yes and no.
Are you sure they are braxton Hicks?
If you know they are no worries.

I felt alot of pressure with Braxton Hicks. They were so bad with my first child I went into the ER 3 times. I found out he was on a nerve. But I could of sworn he was coming on a few of them. But the great thing about Braxton Hicks they make things easier and faster during real labor. I only had to push 4 times with my first.
