Try the best software I have seen AVS Video Tools.
It can convert to/from all key format, upload video or DVD directly to key portables like iPod, Sony PSP, Archos, Zen Creative, and mobiles.
It can capture video from DV or webcams, TV tuners, DVB-T, DVB-S, transfer VHS tapes to DVD, remove commercials, edit video, copy and burn DVDs and video files: AVI (DivX, XviD, etc.), MP4, WMV, 3GP, 3G2, QuickTime (MOV, QT), SWF, DVD, VOB, VRO, MPEG 1,2,4, MPG, DAT, VCD, SVCD, ASF, H.263, H.264, RM, DVR-MS.

if you converted then thats not the problem go to your ipod in itunes then go to movies or music videos and make sure the playlist are checked off. and make sure you add the movies on just like you do your music. and to disconnect your ipod with out messing it up go to the right conner of your computer where it shows the time and look for a like green arrow and right click on the block that shows up and in a few seconds you will be able to disconnect with out messing it up

i might bypass with the iPod touch using fact of basic touch-demonstrate screen navigation and a constructive length demonstrate screen. The demonstrate screen length is suited for enjoying video clips on the bypass. The music sounds large interior the direction of the headphones, yet you could basically use the headphones that pop out of the container, no different headphones will extra healthy. 8GB is probably no longer that plenty, yet once you dont want to apply a large style of reminiscence, 8GB would be okay. in case you prefer to get a extra fee-effective iPod bypass with the classic, yet i do advise the touch.

You should be able to play the video. Is your iPod software up to date? Try this: Connect your iPod to your computer. Click on 'Help' and then 'Check for updates.'
