Problem with my MicroSd. It not working!!?

my Micro Sd cannot open it at my computer nor use it on my handphone..when i use it with microsd adapter and try to format , it won't work either..i just buy it a few days ago...it is a problem with adapter?or it already damage?help me!!!i'm using NOKIA 5200 with Micro SD DNA 512 MB memory installed...could someone explain this?

check if the NoKiaaaa can support that big of a card. If it can have the phone format it. If it cant recognise the memory card then the card has something wrong with it.
