im working on the patent. now i need a company to help me with the first prototype. the components are simply plastics and aluminum. anyone knows any company.

You might try looking up "props" amd "prop making" in your local phone book.

I live in a city that is one of the moviemaking centers of Canada and they've got a couple of "prop shops" here. These shops make all kinds of things for the movie industry and often, in the slow months, take on non-prop contracts.

They have access to staff and equipment to make everything from fake corpses and body parts to handheld laser guns.

One of the benefits of using a prop maker is the quicker turnaround times. You can have your object in a matter of weeks,( if not days) as opposed to the months it might take with a standard manufacturing company.

Otherwise, you might have some luck asking at tool and die companies. If they don't do prototypes themselves, they may know which companies will do it.
