Question for polka buff... I've heard of a new genre called modern polka.?

What's it like, and what are some bands/artists?

Consider modern polka a more "jazzed" up version of the traditional central and eastern Europe/Mediterranean dance music. Try artists like bob kames, brave combo, and jimmy sturr. Some of the Clumsy Lovers material could be considered modern polka and they are just fantastic.
