Sometimes, when I look down while I'm standing high above ground, I imagine what it would be like to fall from there. I don't do this intentionally, but I just do. It's just pops in my head. Am I weird? or do you people do that as well? (I actually told this to few of my friends and they also admitted that they do that sometimes...)

I think it's pretty clear that you're not the only one who ponders falling! So no, you're not weird, and it isn't just you.

I have a fear of heights, and doing some research on it a while back, I came upon a study that suggested that the actual fear is based on a strong impulse to fling yourself over the edge! Yikes.....

:D

Time and the realization that gravity hurts should make you wonder what that might feel like. It's just self-preservation. Makes you almost wish you'd never jumped off of anything when you were a kid, or fallen down while getting older; of course then you'd might just jump to check it out.
That's my two cents for ya.

I think this is completely natural. Part of it is "the what if?"
What if i fall? What would it feel like to jump? What would happen when I land?
Then leads into questions of self worth.. Will anyone miss me if I die? Who? Who would help me if I'm injured?

Yeah, I've done that. I've also imagined just punching some random starager in the face. As long as you just imagine that's okay...I hope.

Yes, of course. And if you have fear of heights like I do, the feeling and the fear is heightened.
