so i'll explain first i know the hard drive worked fine an hour ago, i use two different hard drives and i had the spare in because it has itunes on it. well i switched the hard drives back and left the ipod plugged in and i think that might be what caused the issue. so no when i try to boot the hard drive ipod connected or not it tells me hard disk error press ctrl alt dlt whioch does nothing but try to reboot again and same problem. i even tried hooking it up as the slave and the spare as the master and it did the same thing. well it has my important files on it so i turned the comp on with just the spare hard drive waited till it booted and the hooked the bad one as a slave then manually detected new hard ware and it showed up and i could acces the files on it so i think what is wrong is what ever tells the os to boot or something im not really sure. now i guess my question is, is their a way to fix this without reformatting and reinstalling windows???? any help?
