I think you mean "niches", which is an organism's role in an ecosystem. There could be lots of niches in a tundra ecosystem, the small plants that are able to grow there provide food for larger animals, shelter and food for smaller ones, insects and bacteria. Since much of the ground is permafrost many plants have adaptations to help them survive in the harsh environment. Read up a bit on what a tundra is and learn about some of the special plants that live there, try googling Tundra plant adaptations if nothing else.
