I know exactly what you are talking about as far as physical pollution. The Chinese quotes are right on! But I want to be a smart a*s here and say as far as psychological pollution, we have to look at Washington D.C. Sorry, I just couldn't resist that remark! A thousand lashes with a wet udon noodle please! At least you know someone is paying attention to what you say and are concerned about and I am too. The pollution brought on by the Chinese industrialization will make the US look clean in the future. But guess what? The US is to blame for a lot of the uncontrolled industrial growth in China. When is the last time you bought anything that wasn't made there? Oh for the good old days when the label read "Made in Japan"!!!!

Smog wise I believe it's Mexico city. It sits in a mountainous valley, and they don't really have emission regulations, so the smog literally just sits above the city. Either that or Hollywood, but that's a different type of dirt and pollution ;-).
