Yes. If only for a brief while.
I've know of people frightened for some time after a scary movie (come on, doesn't "Psycho" still make you a little worried in the shower now and then?) Or I've known people really touched by movies about love or suicide who vow to make positive changes in their life.
The current film "Days of Glory" (about French-Algerians) actually changed government policy - after seeing it, Chirac decided that Algerian veterans should be given the same pension as their French counterparts - so that changed a lot of people's lives!

yeah change can be in so many ways, it dosnt have to be an emotional type of change. Some may watch something and then realize they want to a screen writer or an actress or other such things because of this one movie they say. Then they could also just content with a charater real or one that was made up and that person just happens to be a math tearcher or some kind of doctor and thats why they want to go into that feild of work.

of course it can. Being able to see and hear a story about someones life or watching an unforgettable event beautifully captured on screen all in a matter of two - three hours, can change anyones life.
There are books and paintings out there that have changed peoples lives, so can a great film.

Yeah, I guess a movie change change a persons life but it depends what type of change it has on the person. A good movie may make you think good and do good but on the other hand, a bad violent movie can make a already bad person more bad. Bad movies gives them all types of bad ideas. So it depends on the movie and the person.

This sounds dumb but when I was 7 years old, some dumb primary (referred to elementary or grade schools in america)school kid brought the movie, Jumanji, to school and we were watching it with another class and I know people who grew to love the movie. However, I had an averse reaction to it and I had a phobia of this movie ever since then and I even used to have nightmares of scenes from this particular movie but thank goodness the nightmares have stopped ever since i entered my teens. :)

Sure it can,... If you are watching something and you just relate to it... then things can change,, your outlook on things can change... Sometimes something just "clicks" and you change.. thats why some movies have things like subliminal messages and stuff in em ,,... to get you thinking a certain way!
