if i change the pickups into a seymour duncan will it change the sound dramatically?

I prefer Gibson pickups due to the choice & the different sounds you can choose from! Seymour Duncan's are ok but Gibson has the sound!

Yes, changing the pickups will change the sound, possibly dramatically... but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll like the new sound.

Instead, consider trying new adjustments on your amp. If your amp is a beginner unit then no fiddling with pickups will make the guitar sound better.

yes, in an electric guitar your pickup is what transfers all of the sound to the amp and every type of pickup is different in sound, that's why you'll see guitars with a switch to change between the different pickups and positions on the guitar, a weak pickup will make your guitar sound week, and it determines the overall quality of sound
