A passing motorist stops to give first aid to a victim of an automobile accident who later dies of his injuries. Is the motorist liable for damages?

actually it MAY not cover this unless it can be proved that you were trained in basic first aid ie: you have a cpr card, or more helpful in that situation, a basic first aid card

No the Good Samaritan Law would protect the passing motorist who tried his best but couldn't save the victim.

Good Samaritan Laws were devised as a way of protecting people who come to the aid of others. They stipulate that any person who comes to the aid of an injured or ill person cannot be blamed for any further injury or illness that results from the aid given.
