just a question about my preferences in movies/books/poems/ ect. i have a tendancy to adore such things that tell somewhat depressing stories, .... , i loved of mice and men, and most of Edger Allen Poes works, as well as Robert Frost and so forth.. they are all fabulous writers so my intrest in their works seems perfectly normal to me. however i do get caught up in them and often times can't stop thinking about the issues of murder/death/ and so forth braught up.......i have been told multitudes of time that i'm creepy or odd because these are the only stories i really take any intrest in, and the feel good books and so forth are just unrealistic in my mind..... oppinions?

It isn't odd. Just look at the fact that their works are so widely known, and taught in schools and such. Don't worry all that much about it. However, if you are obsessing, that's a different story. An interest in horror of any nature is all right with me, but keep your mind open to reading other genres as well. That's my two cents for ya.

I do not think that is odd at all. I LOVE " OF MICE AND MEN". I read a lot of books that others find to be odd however I do not dwell on the thoughts of murder/death, etc. I just find them fascinating. I am awed by the imagination of these writers and how they come up with such things. I am intrigued about how a 'murderers' mind works, what they could possibly be thinking to do those things. I am not a morbid person by any means, just interested in some things others aren't.

I had one, months in the past. i do no longer understand if he grow to be precisely loopy, yet he despatched a number of of creepy emails. no longer the stable/humorous/pervy variety; extra like the type that make you ask your self what share lifeless hookers he has in his trunk.
