I have a COMPAQ U600 and I have been to about 5 stores today, where I usually get my ink cartridges but for some reason everyone was out of the one i needed. I have a lexmark 50 black ink cartridge in right now, are there any other cartridges (black ink only) that I can get to use for my printer?

if you don't mind, you can purchase the ink over the internet, and they are much much cheaper than buying from the stores. Here's one: http://inksell.com. I've used them. Cheap price and good quality ink.

go to cartridge world if you have one in your town, i went there yesterday and got my cartridge filled for half the price of replacing it.
