It is hard tell you're parents. But if you will wait more. You're just making it also more hard than ever. Tell them now. Before they will know it from other. You need to face all the consequences of your action. I just want to say is tell them right now. Maybe they will get mad. If that's the case, just accept it. And try to explain everything as much as you can. Maybe later they will eventually accept the fact.

It really depends. Is it the right time? If you think your parents will react negatively, do you think it's necessary to tell them at this moment?

There are so many ways to do it, but honesty is key. Don't surprise them. I always hid it from my mother and I'm 24 and just found out she knew all along. I told her once when I was young, around 14, and she didn't believe me and just chalked it up to having bad friends at school. But, she learned and accepted it on her own time and now we are open and okay about it.

In hindsight my initial confession caused a lot of trouble and I would have definitely waited until a more appropriate time when I could have told her more maturely. Just keep that in mind.

I wouldn't share this bit of info with them. What I or you do in our bedrooms, on the table, on the roof or in the garage is no ones business.

I have no clue to why so many people feel the need to advertise crap like this. I don't go telling my family or friends that I am heterosexual. No one really cares anyway !! Do what you want with who you want and leave everyone else out of it !!

Ethan, if you are sure that you are then do it exactly like your question just tell them. If you can't get yourself to say the words then print out your question. Print out all of our answers and hand them to mom and dad. Parents love their children and yours may have a struggle at first but they will figure out a way to get past it and continue to love you. Good luck -k-

Very difficult question. I'm 43 years old and still never told my parents. I never really had the need. Besides, it depends on the parent and why you need them to know. My parents were very closed minded and prejudiced people so I figured, "Why bother?" To me, it's a personal sexual choice and none of my parents business. (Just like I have no interest in hearing their sexual inner workings...)

Unless you plan on settling down w/ someone of the same sex,I don't think you really need to tell them! But if you feel the need to you might as well come out and just say it!!

there sure isnt a hurry with this , is there?
Give yourself time to be sure.
I would wait until I was 18 and be ready to be out of the house before you tell. Some parts of our lives are private.

mom dad... I'm bi the sink. that way you can feel good that you told them and they think you're just drinking too much espresso. but seriously do they really have to know? just something to think about because if it's just a phase don't tell them because you'll probably get over it.

pay attention he could attempt to slap you for that one. i replaced into Bi (in basic terms somewhat) and that i merely got here out and advised them, there is by no skill a good time to tell your loved ones which you like the comparable intercourse. tell your mom first, and you will rather piss him off.
