San Diego to Sacramento, Ca and route advised..

It takes about 7 hours if you are driving fairly fast, not stopping much, its around 500 miles. The best route is to take I-5 all the way up after you get over the grapevine the speed limit is 70 all the way to SacTown. Suggestion, leave at night, if you drive through LA during the daytime, the traffic may slow you down. I once drove from San Diego, up to the Bay area, and it took me 4 hours to get through LA, becuase of traffic.

8 to 10 hours, take interstate 5 north all the way. Night time is best.

use hwy 5 all the way up north to Sac and you are looking at about 9 1/2 hrs or more depending on stops, or traffic conditions,etc...
