they simply don't understand that we live in a global economy and a global community...

the same people that say they "don't care" will cry about someone not knowing "economics" in the next question... but they apparently can't see the obvious point that all international economies are being tied together more and more... and, like it or not, appearance does matter...

if they think you're a crazy warmonger... that probably makes them think you're unstable as a nation... thus not worthy of stable trade or investment... and you can't just do that to the other 5.7 billion people in the world... that's too many investors that you need to stay open too...

EDIT: AND CHINA CARES VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH... you guys should REALLY pay attention, because you're clearly not... they have held many meetings with MANY African countries and South American countries... the developing world that has many raw resources... and they will become invaluable in the next 100 years...

they aren't fools... you should look at what they are doing and realize we're being left behind... and it's going to be too late by the time you care enough to pay attention...

I am a Conservative and I care more about the United States of America before I care about others. Of course I am well aware that we all live on the same earth and have to deal with each other politically and economically and now religiously. Every country's actions affects the others and watches for our reactions. The world knows we are the youngest nation yet the richest, and one to go to whenever anyone needs help, and the nation with the best military forces. Something I'm proud of-God bless and protect our troops!

I personally don't care what other countries think of us because history shows us that no matter what we do or don't do, half of them will hate us and the other half will like us. And as soon as the ones that hate us need help, they will start to change their tune and talk with different words and say they like us so we help them out. Then the ones that liked us will hate us for helping them. It's a repeating circle. This has been happening for 130 years.

I don't live in a bubble. I watch news every day, go on the internet to go more news. I read the TIME magazine (and I know the TIME is bias and mre liberal) I watch FOX and CNN. I don't favor one news channel over another. I want all sides so I can form my own opinions and hear what everyone is saying. My father on the other hand will only watch FOX and listen to Rush. I don't listen to Rush, can't stand him. I am not selfish in my personal life or with my votes in politics. Why do you categorize Conservatives as selfish? And why do you call us "so-called" Conservatives? What does that mean?

If being a Conservative means to be moral and to be a great patriot and we 'have' to live in a bubble, then I'm proud to be a Conservative. I would hate to live outside the bubble and be immoral and unpatriotic. Essentially that's what you are saying about the "so-called" Liberals. You said you are expecting insulting responses f rom us Conservatives and that everyone else have valued opinions. That's sad! You are labeling millions of people that you've never met. You are putting yourself in a bubble then. Wake up! Conservatives care greatly about our nation and about the world. We believe that God created it and we are trying to go back to the way God intended the human race to live together. With morals and with faith. The problems that the great powers of the world have caused are all due to power, greed, pride, envy and jealousy. These are deadly sins. The 3 major religions of the world (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) all know this. If we can get rid of these deadly sins, we will be able to live more peacefully. It's not regular citizens that have the power, it's our leaders. That's why I vote that way I do.

The Islamic radicals and their demented ideology have indiscriminately slaughtered thousands of innocent men, women and children - with pretty much impunity.
I do not give a damn what any country that will not stand up to these murdering thugs thinks of the United States.
The French bowed to them and they rioted - they repaid the courtesy by rioting again a year later, perhaps to celebrate the first riot.
You cannot appease an ideology that is filled with hatred and domination. We have responded - history will show that these countries are are the wrong side of this war.

Why ought to we care what something of the international thinks? we are richer, extra useful, and extra ingenious. If we opt to pass invade Iraq for no obvious reason, ought to we actually care concerning to the Western Europeans crying approximately it, even inspite of the indisputable fact that what we did grow to be incorrect? No, using fact it would not undertaking or consequence us. Does absolutely everyone think of the main useful u . s . a . in international history ought to make its judgements based upon the consequence of a popularity contest? effective, there'll be anti-American sentiment, yet interior the top they're going to nevertheless do business enterprise with us, nevertheless attempt to get us to pass to their countries to spice up tourism, and nevertheless choose us to assist them get something performed on the international point. those relics of a bygone golden age have yet to recover from the incontrovertible fact that their consent, their comments, their emotions now no longer count number as we at the instant are interior the age of yankee international hegemony. Will usa ultimately decline and yet another ability upward thrust? history could recommend specific, yet till that day comes Conservatives have it only right suited that what something of the international thinks approximately us is of little to no magnitude. in specific situations anti-Americanism can brew terrorism, yet ought to we care concerning to the comments of human beings who could motel to such vile strategies? I say no. the international is vulnerable and consistently suffering to be suitable in right this moment's international, an hard activity certainly. the place could the Europeans be devoid of NATO? NATO is only an American promise to assist its eu "allies" in the event that they're too vulnerable as they have been for the final various many years. How influential could the UN be devoid of the USA? If the US pulled out of the UN, it may only be a international assembly to communicate subjects, no longer actual resolve something. i'm no longer agreeing with what human beings say approximately Gorbachev's opinion, yet whilst he stated that, usa grow to be no longer the lone international hegemon. Our primacy did no longer somewhat start up till Christmas Day 1991 whilst the U.S. fell. human beings shouldn't care what the international thinks using fact it has, in the intervening time, transcended the international. ALL HAIL usa!

Six months ago, I moved to Europe. People over here hate the U.S. government. However, that perception is based on the (dis)information they get from the Liberal media.

I love sitting down with people who express their contempt for America, and within half an hour I have gotten them to the point of stuttering amazement, even speechlessness. They can't believe how the press has hookwinked them, and made everyone believe a "reality" that is as accurate as your reflection in a circus fun house mirror.

I have taken former Communists and turned them into Ronald Reagan Conservatives.

However, the U.S. cannot base its actions on a popularity contest. Instead, we must educate people on the truth about the USA. To accomplish this, we need to start discouraging irresponsible journalism. Some people may not like Fox News, but it is absolutely the most fair and balanced. O'Reilly has "The Final Word" in which he lets his (often very Liberal) guest give an uninterrupted summary of what he wants to say. Would you get that from the mainstream media, that edits out what they don't like? Hell no!

We do live in a global community. It doesn't mean we need to. It's a choice we made in World War II, quite honestly.

Personally, I don't have the overwhelming need to be "liked" by everyone.

That is the problem with our country- too many care what others think, instead of doing what is moral. We take God out of our schools - don't want to offend any one, some want to take In God We trust off our money, again - don't want to offend anyone. That's BS I & many others are offended by the absense of GOD & most of all GOD is offended. So do I care what other country's think - HELL NO, why should I ?

You are incorrect! Conservatives do care about what other governments & people think about us. But we care more about what we think about them. Those countries that have been ultra liberal in their relations with other countries are paying dearly for it now.

A good example is Germany, France, Denmark, Spain, England, and many others. Like us they allowed Muslim people to immigrate into their countries unchecked, and like us they never took their radicals, or their threats serious.

Right now, they are taking over Germany by their shear numbers. It is so bad Germans are fleeing their county because it is getting unbearable for them to live there. The same thing is happening in Dearborn Mich. (Check it out!)

France was so fearful they couldn't help us in Iraq , if they wanted to and nor could Germany. Spain, and Italy pulled out because of the bombings in their countries, and England will be next. Hillary and Nancy want to go over and talk to these radical Muslims, to convince them we are their friends....they must be kidding!

We have done the same with illegal's coming in from Mexico, South America, and Africa. Illegal, that means they stole their way in, they broke our laws!

Now Nancy Plosi, Hillary Clinton, and Stephine Tubbs Jones, want to give them and other criminals the right to vote, and provide them benifits. That's the height of Librealism, rewarding criminals for braking our laws. None of them pay taxes, so it's you and I who will be footing the bill!

Rich and powerful liberals, use their money to finance people like the ACLU. Who condone child porn, burning the American Flag, and taking God out of our public lives and our schools.

Coservatives believe all these actions are not only wrong, but they will eventually destroy our country.

So, Yes! Coservatives do think about what other people think, and if what they think is wrong for our country, wrong for our kids, takes away our freedoms, and goes against our American way of life.

The only way to conserve what we have, is to fight against their actions and ideas, that will destroy our way of life.

Appeasement has never worked, and that's what liberalism has become. Conservatives are not willing to cast our pearls before swine!

You have the World Wide Web, and the Internet at your command, look around, read, and I think you will see things in a different light. Here's a starter for you.

I don't care what other countries think of us. Does China or Russia care what other countries think of them.....no. We are the super power in the world and of course everyone wants to take shots at us. Most countries are jealous of our wealth and good life here in the US.
