the zoo gave me a squirrel now I need advice on how to raise it. mainly getting rid of fleas

I think I'd take it to a vet to make sure you don't put something on it that could harm it.

I'm no expert but a squirrel is a wild animal and I'm not so sure it can be kept as a domestic pet. I would certainly ask someone with bona fide animal knowledge about this one, not just opinions. That's only fair to yourself and the squirrel.

Why would a zoo give you a wild animal with fleas??? You could sue them for that!
