I had a mice and she recently passed. I always feed her and cleaned her cage. After she died, I cleaned her cage and found rust on the tip of her bottle. Any ideas?

Mice just don't live very long... It could be disease or organ failure or anything. That is why they breed so quickly.

May bie she was drinking some of the rust. Was the tip made of any metal? With the water it mmight have rust. Drinking the rust may have poisend her and killed her.

that probably was the cause of death. with the water bottle being rusty she was getting it every time she took a drink.
