I honestly love my enameled solid iron dutch oven yet i'd not practice dinner a best rib in it. I want roasting it in a really gradual oven coated in herbs. the exterior of the roast receives that crispy browned outside by ability of roasting which will be complicated to achieve in a dutch oven. ----edit---- Having searched more beneficial in this difficulty, i got here across a number of recipes of those who have made a best rib in a dutch oven encased in rock salt. i have cooked salt crusted fowl in a terra cotta, so i'd imagine it might want to be truly a similar. basically google salt crusted best rib and also you'll discover a number of recipes
