If you have been friends that long..I think you should accept her/him and learn to like her/him just as much or even more...I cant even imagine how hard it must be

Good Luck

I understand your predicament. I think I can give some insight to help you process this. A friend for two years gives me the impression that you have a good bond. If you had no idea that she is a transsexual, she must be an awesome looking woman. Just because she has a past is no reason to dismiss what the two of you have now. I have done research on the mental stresses that people who feel they were born the wrong sex go through and so your friend must have been tormented enough that he/she did something about it. If she has a social life now tells me that she made the right decision and is a happy person and is now going on with life as she felt she was meant to be. Give her a chance. I'm also guessing that if she was secure enough with you to divulge her past, she will be willing to address whatever questions you may have. Again, give her a chance. She is human first and a lady second.

How sad for your friend that he got up his nerve to tell you, trust you, and you took off. My opinion is to contact your friend as soon as possible and talk. Just the 2 of you, alone. He will understand if you don't want to be friends anymore because it's probably happened to him before, but you need to say it and why. Don't be afraid, for crying out loud! You can pass him a note and tell him you are sorry you ran off and to please meet you for pizza and Coke to talk. If you have been friends for 2 years and you ditch 'her' now, people will notice and ask why you aren't friends anymore. I'm sure he will understand that you were shocked and didn't know what to say or do - tell him that. If you want to continue the friendship it will be complicated but he will tell you his life story so you can understand how difficult it is for him day in and day out! Trust yourself to do the right thing. Please don't ditch your friend and spread rumors about him/her. OK? He will tell people when he is ready to tell them. What's the chances she/he was just joking???

Honestly, even if its a bit of a bombardment, it shouldnt change anything if yall have a good friendship going....its really not an issue. And im sure it took alot for ur friend to tell u the truth so dont make her regret it.Treat her normally like u always did...respect her for who she is and not for what she had and now has(get it??)

Suzie isn't performing like a real pal. real acquaintances are meant to have confidence one yet another whilst they say they are telling the reality. Suzie has many times happening you longer then she has many times happening Mary so she ought to have confidence you extra. Mary is speaking crap. She desires to end mendacity and asserting all those crappy issues. you ought to tell Suzie which you probably did no longer SAY THAT SHE become A BACKSTABBER. If she would not have confidence then you definately ty to make new acquaintances using fact she is meant to be your pal. Why is she going to have confidence her new pal particularly then her old, properly many times happening pal. tell her each little thing I only wrote. She desires to have confidence you. Take my suggestion and make new acquaintances if Suzie would not have confidence you. She would not deserve you in case you will no longer have confidence you. tell her acquaintances are meant to have confidence one yet another. If she would not have confidence then you definately go searching for different acquaintances. you will experience extra useful. what style of acquaintances do no longer have confidence one yet another? sometime, she'll decide the reality yet you is often busy alongside with your different acquaintances or new acquaintances. :)

If you can't accept who your friend is then maybe you should break off the friendship. Why did he/ she wait so long to be honest with you? Was he'she ashamed,? You two need to have a serious discussion and clear the air.

If this friend has never done anything offensive to you, and it's not against any religion that you may be following, why can't you still be friends with her/him. Maybe not as close as before though.

if you're curious about it well go ahead and ask she shouldn't be really weird about answering questions. But it really shouldn't make a difference to you now. You liked her before you knew she used to be a he. She's been transgender and it didn't just happen so treat her the same.
