I'm a 100% at fault. But the rookie cop made a boo-boo on my ticket. I am certain I can get off. Yet, I fully know I didn't come to a complete stop at that stop sign and deserve the ticket. I think I should take it like a man and pay up.

It depends upon what the boo boo is. If he spelled your name wrong or something like that, the judge is still likely to convict you if there is evidence that you committed the offense. However, if you are certain you can legally get out of it due to a fatal flaw in the ticket, I would definately try to get out of it. The police have to follow procedure and if they fail to do so, you should feel good about getting your case dismissed. Maybe next time they will follow procedure.
