East coast people tend to be more old school and Purtain in nature.
west coast people tend to be more new age and experimental.
There has been a blending of the minds over the last 50 years or more, but pockets of resistance still exist.

There is a huge difference. Mostly those of us here on the left coast find ourselves left out of many political considerations. Our population generally isn't as dense as many East Coast areas. There are exceptions-LA, SF Portland and Seattle, but when compared to the East Coast, the population density is much smaller. We are also younger states and still have a bit of the frontier veneer on us. The majority of presidents and power figures in government come from the Eastern side of the country, not from the Western side. The majority of industry is on the Eastern side of the Country, most farming and agriculture is found in the Western side and so forth. We also have larger Hispanic populations-mostly Mexican, than you would find on the East Coast. These are just a few of the differences. The problem is that the way things are, creates resentment on the West Coast-if the Feds decided to put a nuclear waste plant in over here, there isn't much we could do to stop it. We don't have the representation to check this type of occurance from happening. Cali is safe, but Washington, Oregon and Alaska are pretty much dead meat.

West coast is on the left.
East coast is on the right, so that makes the East coast the RIGHT coast to be on.

BEACH TALK
-East has an awesome beach
-West has a freezing ocean
-East is comfortable and you can find reasonable prices
-West is slightly more classy but very expensive
----From my point of view you can obviously tell that the East coast is WAY BETTER than the west coast.

the seat of power,ecomonics,and fashion are all located on the east coast,only the vacation, and fantasty , and porn in the west

I live in "flyover" country...specifically Northern WI. The whole arguement is foolish to me. Who really gives a ****? If you're happy where you are, then you're happy where you are.
If you choose to live in the shithole that SoCal is, then so be it. If you choose to live in the shithole that NY,NY is, then so be it. I choose to live in the armpit of the country, and it's fine with me.
The arguement is foolish, and devoid of logic...it's a pissing contest.
Be happy with your life, or change it...whatever works for you.
