At that age you feed the baby on command if your baby is not letting you know then you can feed him/her every 2-3 hrs for breastfed baby and 4-5 hrs for formula fed babys. How many ounces depends on the babys appetite. A baby will let you know when he-she is full.

every 2-3 hours from when you fed them last and anywhere from 1.5onces to 3 depends on what the baby is up to dont forget to burp the baby every half ounce or you will have an unhappy gassy baby

Baby will indicate when he's hungry. You'll know.

Try putting 3 oz in his bottle. If he doesn't finish that, he doesn't need quite that much. If he does finish it and still seems fussy, maybe he needs another ounce..

Babies know, better than anyone else, when they feel hungry. Don't wake him to feed him. Don't automatically feed him when he's awake just because it seems to you that its time. Let him indicate that it's time, and let him eat till he seems content to let go of the nipple.

I would say nurse on demand for a 6 week old baby. If your breastfeeding a good feed would be around 20-30mins each side. If bottle fed, 100mls would be a good amount.

that is a tough question because my son was breast fed I simply fed him till he felt full and went to sleep. He is now a healthy, handsome 23 year old guy and would be embarrased if I shared this story to a future girlfriend. Unless they are married and she needs to ask the same question. Breast fed babies need more frequent feedings.

when they cry, start with two-ounces....DO NOT wake them up for a feeding, they will wake up when they are hungry.

I just nursed on demand. It's fool-proof.
