Ummmm... ur missing the part you need most.. Its called a brain... How old is your son?? if he is 11.. he should be wired to know what to do automatically.....LOL.

You may need to buy a battery pack for it...I'm not sure if it's included in your package. (They included the battery at first then changed in order to lower the price.) You may also need a memory card to store game saves. Batteries come in differing sizes depending on the life per charge you want. I'm sure it comes with the AC adapter, but you may want to check just to be sure. The only other thing you need are games. I would however recommend that you get some kind of protective case for it because the screen is said to scratch very easily.
Now, to store your game disks they have this outrageously priced plastic box that stores eight disks. It costs about $10. Save your money and do what I did: Buy a pack of baseball card pages (preservers) that fit in a 3 ring binder. The disks will slip perfectly into these pages with just the right tightness so they won't slide out. Then just buy a cheap binder for the pages. You'll save a ton of money if you do this instead of buying those stupid plastic storage cases.

a psp is a wonderful gift for anyone.
it plays music, u can clearly watch movies on it,
you can store photos on it and most of
all u can play games on it.
what young boy wouldnt want this!!

watch umd vidioes. play playstation games on a umd disk. internet browser wireless router. pictures viewer. you can have music on it as well.
