I hope what ever he came back as is living or has lived a life of peace that he spoke for louder than anyone of his time.

I don't think enough time has elapsed for his soul to be recycled yet. For all we know, we could float in the nether regions for trillions of earth years before living again. But to departed spirits, the time between lives could seem to go by in the blink of an eye.
