Don't you just hate it when pompus self assured people pick on every little fault and flaw in the question instead of just answering it, they need to grow up and get a life.

Now I answered a question a little while ago and I believe that it is along the same lines as this question.

""The point to life is the connection and interactions that we have with others, beyond this nothing else matters.

Let me explain, food, drink, mating, doing good work for good money, spending money, etc. all of these things will satisfy us but not for long. If you have watched the movie 'Pirates of the Caribbean' the people who get stuck in this cycle are like the cursed pirates on the black pearl, nothing will satisfy for long. They need more and more, greater and greater, until finally they have all that they can but still have nothing because they cannot use it.

On the other hand if you look at the classic 'A Christmas Carol' the crochets are happy with very little. They don't have everything that their heart could desire but they have enough and that is good enough for them.

While these are two fictional stories the basis of them is rooted deeply in fact. The point to life is not how much you have but how many people you have to share it with, how many you like and love and how many like and love you. It is like the old adage, the poor man is as rich as a king if he is loved.""

What I mean by this that people who have everything that they want may seem happy, in truth they aren't. While those who have very little but are content with what they have got are the really happy ones.

It is about how we interact with others, not how much we have that counts. When we help others we feel good, when we take from them, it may make us feel good fort he short term but in the long term it will only make us want more starting a long and miserable cycle.

If you are happy with what you have then that is great, you are already wealthier than all those who have everything.

Hope this helps.

A wealthy person is one who is happy with what they have.

If a person is always desiring more material wealth, then it is harder to be happy.

Helping others is the most honorable thing you can do in this life.
If helping makes you happy, then indeed you are wealthy.

the way you spell 'alot' informs me that you need a better education.

in addition, i have found that people who give a lot tend to have very low self esteem...trying to seek approval and acceptance from others. basically, youre 'buying' their friendship!

will you be my friend? i could use a new ferrari!
