when i put a umd game into my psp it makes a sound like its
trying to load up but it doesnt.And umd doesnt appear under the settings game.What can I do?

Take the disk out and examine it for any foreign objects sticking to it such as a hair or a smudge of any kind. If you need to clean off a smudge, carefully use a soft napkin (toilet paper will do) slighly dampened. You will need to be cleaning the exposed part of the disk in the little square opening of it's case. Then blow dry it with a hair dryer but don't get it too hot. (You will probably need to rotate the disk within it's case to do a good job.) Then pop it back in and play away!

What version are you running? Make sure if the umd comes with an update under GAME that you do update it to that version. might have 2.0 or higher.

press update on the psp it then will work.
