Looking to make extra money. Have a push mower, and will gladly mow lawns within a 4 mile radius of my home for cheap prices. Will not be raking the clippings nor any leaves. Will not be using a weed eater either. Wondering if anyone here has done similarly, and made any real money doing it.

I'm sorry. When I say 'push mower', I do mean a gas mower. It is just not a riding mower, and not a mulching one (no bag).

You need to at least rake up the clippings. Otherwise you're just making a mess. You don't need a weedeater, although it would be a plus and maybe get you more business. I'd start out with the push mower AND a rake, and see if you can get regular customers. Then you can upgrade to a used gas mower or a get a used weedeater. Remember, if you don't do a good job, you won't get repeat customers. Repeat customers will make you money, one time charity customers won't.

in the 1960's.... before there was such a thing as a weed-eater.

Now... you need the weedeater and you need a mulching mower. (s you won't have to rake)
