ok my bf and i went to applebees 3 times in the last 4 months. the 1st time it took us 2 and 1/2 hours from the time we ordered and to the time we got our check. next time we go and it took superlong to get our food. and the last time we went to a different applebee's in a completly differnet city waited for 20 mins to get a table and then waited for another 20 mins and noone never came and took our order

I thought i was the only who hated applebee's. I got terrible service from them. The waitres was rude (i have sympathy for waitresses and am never mean to them) and the food was warm and they took forever getting the food to us. I really dislike them.

I love Applebees. It's me and my bf's favorite place to go out to eat and we've always had excellent service. I went last week w/my parents and had a cheerful server. I even called in for a survey and gave them excellent reviews....and got a $3 coupon for calling in.
Ok maybe once we had a snobby hostess, but that's it.
Edit: Wow just read through the other answers. I guess I'm lucky and have a good one! :) Heyyy who gave my thumbs down? Jealous? hehe

I don't eat there. Take a look in the kitchen and see who cooks your food. They will let anyone work in their kitchen. That is why they have so many problems. I have a gift card for the place that I won't even give to another victim.

I dont usually go to Applebees. I much prefer places like Chilis, or TGI Fridays, or Hooters if I'm not with my fiance.

I've never had DECENT service at one, and I've been about 8 times (4 to the same one, not my choice on 3 of those).

same here crappy food and crappy, rude service
I also heard that the food is prepackaged and just reheated, nasty, , , , ,as far as the bad service and rudeness, well theres no excuse for that
