laptop we end up being conncected but not to the internet. It says limited or no connectivity. Does anyone know how I can get my laptop to run off the wireless modem/router...If you do could you possibly dumb it down for me i am a blonde and i don't understand technical...I use my home computer as the main computer for my business and my bf uses his laptop.

Check to see if you have the routers wireless security feature enabled. If you do disable it until you get everything working then you can enable the security if you want to.

Theres no such thing as a wireless modem.
The wireless connection is between the WiFi router and the Wireless Ethernet adapter in your computer.
A Ethernet crossover cable connects the WiFi router to the Broadband modem!
