I'm looking for personal as well as medical answers on this one. I've just been researching early and late pregnancy symptoms, and am wondering what the typical symptoms you found are, and when they occured. Were any of you late with symptoms? Early?

Did you notice anything in the first month? The last month? How did your body change over the course of each trimester, and what phases did you find the easiest and hardest to deal with? What were some solutions?

Just an interested lady considered pregnancy vs. adoption (though I'd like to do both. =P ).

Great book with all the answers is
What to expect when expecting

It gives all the symptoms and joys of pregnancy and is EASY to read. The library probably has it.

Adoption is also talked about in there too.

I cannot answer ALL of your questions because this is my first pregnancy and I am only 13.5 weeks.

I can describe my symptoms though...

About a week before my period my left boob started hurting, then they both hurt for a day, and then it stopped altogether. I also felt a little hungrier and thirstier. I was also a bit emotional but at the time I thought it was pms. I tested positive 2 days before I was due. After that my boobs started hurting realllllly bad and nausea kicked in around week 6. I then became VERY emotional. Now that I am nearing the second trimester the symptoms are starting to subside a bit. I have more energy and don;t feel as sick (still starving and having cravings though).

For me personally, pregnancy has NOT been easy, but some women fly right through and feel great the whole time (or so they say)... I have no experience with adoption but I would love to do it someday, I hear it can be quite expensive...

hth :)
