Boon to the motivated student - Bust for the non-motivated student.

It's a tool. Not a motivating factor at all.

It can't help a student do anything the student couldn't do without it - so no, I do not think it promotes learning or higher levels of education. Most students don't avail themselves of information at the libraries they're in daily.

It can, however, facilitate and enhance learning for those who would educate themselves without it.

The internet is a tool... and it helped me alot. It's pretty much learning how to gain and process information. It's having multiple sources about one topic and being able to come to a conclusion.
It's worldly knowledge 24-7... it's never closed, never worn out or not in stock. If a person is smart, he will exceed with this tool.

the internet is a great place to research stuff. there is always current sources, and the amount of data is significantly greater than what you will find in a library. the only bad thing is not all sources are legit. be careful which site you use, its best to check several site to see if they say the same things so that you know the information is correct
