Well...while everybody always picks Eli, let's look at Grossman too....Ok, at the beginning of the season Grossman was excellent...ppl even said if he kept playing like that he would be the MVP that year....But....Grossman choked at the last part of the season and relied mainly on his defence to carry the Bears to the Superbowl....Now let's take a look at Eli's season....After making the playoffs last year Eli Manning had some pressure and he showed it.....He came out and had a so-so season....A kind of a mediocre season since he was expected 2 lead his team 2 the second round....So it all depends....you want a quarterback that needs 2 learn not 2 choke at the end of the season or a quarterback that has a mediocre season....

Neither, Grossman is a loser and manning is inconsistent. Both are duds and will not amount to anything in the NFL. Eli just has the name and Grossman is a waste. Manning only got lucky because Plexico is monster tall and can catch anything, even when Eli throws a poor pass. Grossman just cant cut it. The Bears act as if they do not want to win. Who lost the Superbowl, it wasnt the Bears, it was Grossman. Eli will never get to the Superbowl so I would never want either of these guys on my team. I dont even want them as backups.

i wouldn't want either one as a starter on my team but if I had to choose Grossman has a better long ball and is a better QB when he is on, Eli seems to be consistently bad with no real upside starting with the crying after being drafted by S.D. So I would take Grossman,Limit the play book for a while and get him comfortable and confident then slowly start to open up the play book little by little. He will be a decent QB given time and mentoring.

Eli Manning

Neither QB has reached their maturity yet.. Unfortunately both were tossed into starting slots before they even had a chance to get theirs ears wet..
In time I believe Eli will prove to be a pretty decent QB as will Grossman, pretty decent meaning a starting QB that doesn't hurt his team as both QB's being so young did this year. My suggestion (like that means anything) is for both NY and Chicago pick up vet QBs in their final years that can be used as a player/teacher until they both are ready. Bledsoe, Garcia, Farve (if GB would let go), or someone of that caliber.

Eli. I think Eli has more talent and has matured more by the way he handled himself last season. Yeah, he played very poorly on a dysfunctional team, but he always tried to stay positive and not attack anyone while even his own coach was talking **** about him to the press. Eli needs to stay strong during the 2007-08 season in his play, be a little smarter with the ball in the pocket, and win a big game or two. This could be his breakout year.

People forget Payton sucked his first two years in the NFL...

I really wouldnt want either, but eli would have to be my choice. he has an older brother who has the name peyton manning, whoever he is, and a father who was a former nfl qb archie, from new orleans. he can ask them for advice. He also has had better recivers in the past and present so he has learned from the good recievers, and he plays with a diecent team. He also is not consistant, but he is more consistant than GROSSman

Is this a joke, I'd want Eli. He might not be as well developed as Payton, but he isn't Rex Grossman. I'm telling you, that guy has no idea what he is doing out there.

Eli is the guy I want, at least he's not inconsistent like Grossman...

He's got better numbers as well
