Anyone have the Nokia 5300?

The Nokia 5300 Music Xpress phone. Does anyone have it? If so, how do you like or dislike it? What are the pros/cons?

The Nokia 5300... Let me tell you the story when I bougt this phone. Music phones are so in right now and the Walkmans of Sony Ericsson have been the leader in making these music oriented phones. After reading numerous reviews about the latest musc phones, I came up with my top 3 choices...

They are all Walkmans. I came across in CNET.com to find out that their editor's #1 choice is the Nokia 5300! I was really sceptical on how it beat all those walkmans... I even came across in thinking that Nokia bribed cnet for making that review...
After a week, I am going to buy my cellphone, I tested all the walkmans in their functionality and of course... music quality and capability. I was so impressed! It is true that the walkmans are really good! But then the saleslady told me to test out nokia's counterpart of the walkman... the XpressMusic. The Nokia 5300 has amazed me of its simple yet modern sporty design. The sliding factor also adds up to a bonus! The camera was very good for people who just want to take pictures to preserve memories but not for the photojournalist type who takes pics for business or advertising purposes. And finally I tested the music player. The 5300 contains nokia's latest mp3 player which review sites say equal to the functionality of the walkman 1.1. And now, the speaker quality... it was VERY LOUD compared to that of the walkmans. Plus the sound quality doesnt diminish even at the highest volume. And it has way better sound quality than the walkmans. So after a long period of researcing for walkmans, I end up buying an XpressMusic instead... =} thnk the RED one looks cooler and sportier than the boring black...

Lesson, dont judge a phone by its branding.
