Mix lemon juice and salt to form a paste. Apply the paste to a loofah sponge or any kind of body scrubber and exfoliate with it in the shower. That should do it.

I use Estee Lauders Spray on mist and this happened to me last summer around my ankles and knees. I had some Victoria's Secrets body scrub ($7-$8 and like an exfoliate but softer) I scrubbed and used the pumice stone like you would on your feet for the extra umpfhh! When I got out and dried off I used a cotton ball soaked in Witch Hazel (or a good Toner) ribbed right off. When you spray it next time the creases and joints use a damp cotton ball then spray the tanner on it then apply it that way. LOOKS REAL!

I would call a tanning salon and ask them. I'm sure they have run into this situation before, and they may have some good advice. Or you can try to go online to ask.com and type in "removing self tanners". Good luck!

I have always heard lemon juice and peroxide works .
Regular bleach would work also then use the lemon to lessen the smell on your skin after you are done .. Good luck .

use an exfoiliater and maybe try baking soda paste to slough off the color and do both arms so you don't look uneven. You could also try dish soap.

This is crazy, but someone told me that Windex works. If nothing that anyone else suggest works, it's worth a try.
