my friend accidently disconnected my ipod when it says do not disconnect. is something going to get messed up or what are the risks for disconnecting it once when it says do not disconnect?

There shouldn't be much problem, but if you do, you can always sync it back up again to fix it. If you do find a problem, hold the "menu" button and the center button for 5 seconds to reboot. YOU WON'T LOSE YOUR STUFF.

Actually if you disconnect it while your computer is writing music to your iPod, the songs can become corrupted and you'd have to restore your iPod to fix it. Just be careful.

I think it's okay. If you were adding music and you were updating your iPod, all of your songs might not have been put on there but everything else will be intact unless she did more to your iPod. or is it a he I don't know. haha
