they don't
"neocons" just laugh at the notion that driving an suv has anything to do with it more than 1 billionth of a micron effect, every century!.
methane gas from farm animals contributes more greenhouse gasses than ALL of transportation, according to a UN study. You know, the UN that all liberals love! The majority of greenhouse gasses are caused by volcanic activity, and the sun. the polar caps on mars are melting at the same rate as those on earth. And despite the lies al gore told you, climate changes were more drastic prior to humans even existing.
So if you want to talk science, talk science, don't just repeat some idiot running around claiming the sky is falling . Try watching a bit more msnbc. Tucker had a scientist from a university (who said he's never taken a nickel from oil companies) on today claiming Gore is a fool!

Look here you you global warming evangelical, there are just as many scientists to challenge your claims about climate change, so it's clearly not a consensus. You are trying to push a political agenda. If global warming actually means something to you, and you want to conserve energy, quit driving, turn off your computer, stop eating meat, and build yourself a house made of straw like the 3 little pigs.

1) 6,000 years ago, the earth was hotter than it is today. 6,000 years is less than a second when compared with the age of the earth.
2) Temperatures dropped in the 1950's and 1990's when CO2 levels were increasing.
3) 140,000 years ago the earth had record CO2 levels and there were no gasoline powered cars.
4) 20,000 years ago, Canada was one big ice cube and half of the U.S. was covered with Ice. The grand canyon was formed by melting ice ages over 20 million years.
5) The temperature of the Earth has only increased by 0.65 of a degree in the last 110 years. There were faster increases in temperatures around 10,000 years ago and there were no gasoline powered cars during that time
7) NASA has said that great temperature changes are normal. Just 10,000 years ago, the earth warmed up extremely in less than 20 years. There were not many people around at that time.
NASA:
"Rapid changes between ice ages and warm periods (called interglacials) are recorded in the Greenland ice sheet. Occurring over ONE OR TWO DECADES, the warming of the Earth at the end of the last ice age "
http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Study/Paleoclimatology_Evidence/Images/gisp2_temperature.gif
8) NASA scientific data has shown most of the changes of temperature are due to changes in the Sun. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all have global warming right now
9) Also, strong hurricanes are normal. Hundreds of years ago, they used to sink ships off of the coast of Florida.
10) THIS GLACIER DIDN'T EXIST 7,000 YEARS ago. And that was after the Ice Age.
"A few thousand years ago, there were no glaciers here at all"..."Back then we would have been standing in the middle of a forest"

1) You don't even know what a Neocon is. If you learned the meaning of terms before using them, people might think you are more intelligent.
2) Global warming is still only a hypothesis, it hasn't even made it to the level of theory let alone established fact.
3) "Science" has been wrong many times about a lot of things. Study the history of science.

We don't deny the science (e.g. that the earth has been warmer of late), we question that warming is caused by human activity.
Why do the the proponents of human-caused global warming ignore the effect of the solar cycles? Or that the primary greenhouse gas (water vapor) is an effect of warming, not a cause? Or that the cycle of global warming and cooling has existed long before SUVs? Or a myriad of other "inconvenient truths"?

Im not a neocon, just a regular conservative, ... .not that you know the difference I doubt, but Scientists havent proved much of anything.
And if you actually studied up on it you would know that.
And as others said, I don't doubt that there is some warming. But I deny the allegations that are being promoted.

Conservatives don't deny the existence of global climate change, we deny that man is the cause of it. And in light of the NY Times article that basically proved that Gore lied and mislead in his move, we seem to be right. As usual.
(Note: please look up the meaning of Neo-con so that you can use it correctly)

Because the fanaticaly religious have ALWAYS stood opposed to science, reality and progress. How long did it take to admit that the earth was round ... then that it orbits the sun ... then that our solar system is not in the middle of the galaxy? Who stood against equal rights for women? for blacks? for gays? Same Sh Different Day.

We do not deny Global climate change, but we do not accept the absolute (oh, how do I put this?) bull that is the theory that humans are causing it.
