My little brother has a hard time reading, but if he flip's the book he read's just as good as you and me. It's just upside down, how and where can I find out about this. Is there anything that would fix it. he don't like to read because it hard rightside up to him. I would like to help him with this, but I don't know where to start.

It sounds like he's dyslexic. Does he also have a hard time writing letters correctly? You should talk to his teacher about it, and also work with him on letter identification and reading rightside up. Dyslexia is a fairly common problem, and if he's diagnosed by the school, they have reading teachers who can come in and help him. And of course, reading with him one on one as much as possible helps enormously.

This sounds like a form of dyslexia. A child needs help with the concept of up/down and left to right progression in reading. You would do well to get a reading specialist to work with him . There are things you can do to help. On books, put a star at the top of the pages. Color the first word in each row green (for go) and the end word in each row red (for stop). A Hoffman reading machine would be helpful too if you can find one in a reading lab. This is just a start of things to do but follow through. How old is he? Is his teacher addressing this problem. Get your parents to work with him every day.

If he can read perfectly upside down, let him. The important thing is NOT that he reads 'right side up' but that he READS,
