If youre a mom or have a mom or someone who took care of you. What reminds you of being a mom( besides the obvious ) or having a mother
Mine is making and baking chocolate chip cookies for me being mother and having one. I remember when I was little waiting for my mom to scoop them up with the spatula and put them on a plate & and today I did it for my little ones and it brought back some great memories !!
What makes you think of mom or being a mom ?

I remember my mom coming home from work smelling like
Anaia Anais perfume and hugging her
and chorizo and eggs for saturday breakfast
whenever I dig through my purse and smell mint gum it also
reminds me of when I would dig through her purse looking for gum

Denim shirts with embroidery designs on them (very southern I know). My Mom probably had 50 denim shirts all with a different embroidery picture on the chest. When she died we couldn't let them go for some reason and all of her sisters and my grandmother and me, each kept a few of them. They stay in the back of the closet but I know they're hers. Now, every time I see those shirts in a store I smile and think about my mom and if she were here she'd definitely be buying yet another denim shirt. They're not very fashionable but she carried it off well.

for me a mom is someone who is there for you no matter what you ever do in life. arms to hold you when you hurt no matter how old you are. my mom was not like that. I strive to be there and have been and will be for my children always no matter what
